A dating scan is an ultrasound examination which is performed in order to establish the gestational age of the pregnancy. Dating scans also reveal other important information such as: the number of fetuses and gestation sacs and placentas.
During the scan measurements of the fetus will be taken to estimate your gestational age, you will hear your baby’s heart beat (after 12 weeks only), basic fetal development and placental position will be assessed.
Our fully qualified sonographer will be able to provide you with a sneak peek of a 4D scan.
