Elena is British of Ukrainian descent. She qualified as a Radiologist in Ukraine and worked in the public and private sectors for many years. She is specialised in general, gynaecology and obstetrics ultrasound imaging.

When Elena moved to the UK, she gained PhD from Canterbury Christchurch University in 2009 as an Ultrasonographer. She has a special interest in HyCoSy and fertility diagnostics. As well as that she has registration with Register of Clinical Technologists (RCT) and is certified with the Fetal Medicine Foundation (FMF) for Nuchal Translucency Screening.

She has worked in various NHS trusts across London. Elena offers early pregnancy, gynaecology scans – including patients who are having fertility treatment abroad – and obstetric scans. She has a professional but friendly approach to her patients and is more than welcome to accommodate patients who are nervous or anxious or need reassurance. Elena is a great listener and is also able to carry out ultrasound examinations in multiple languages: English, Russian, Ukrainian and some Polish.
