Premium 3D scan

Premium 3D/4D Scan

Performed between 24 and 32 weeks
£140

The main purpose of this scan is to allow you to see how your baby will look like before it is born. Our Premium 3D/4D baby scan is in High Definition and you will be able to see baby’s face with realistic picture quality and colour compared to Standard 3D/4D scans.

We are delighted to offer you this 3D/4D scan experience, providing you with the opportunity to witness your baby’s activity in the womb. You’ll be amazed by the range of facial expressions your baby can already make at this stage of development. This scan not only allows for a visual delight but also serves to reassure you about your baby’s size and wellbeing during this special time.

If you have any pregnancy complications or concerns regarding your baby’s size, we will conduct fetal biometry and calculate the estimated fetal weight at the current gestational age to reassure you.

Assessing placental blood flow is crucial for screening potential issues such as impaired placentation, which can lead to complications like pre-eclampsia, intrauterine growth restriction, and perinatal death. It is recommended that you share your growth scan results with your regular healthcare professional.

What will I get?

Your 20-minute appointment includes the following comprehensive services:

  • Confirmation of fetal viability and listening to your baby’s heartbeat

  • HD digital colour images and mini video clips sent to your email

This package requires a booking between 24 to 32 weeks’ gestation and does not necessitate a GP referral.

IMPORTANT

Any concerns identified during the scan will be reported to you. You can then discuss these findings with your healthcare provider for further advice or management as needed.

PREPARATION

To optimize the clarity of the transabdominal scan, we ask that you arrive with a full bladder. Drinking at least 0.5 litres of water before your appointment is advised. If possible, please avoid emptying your bladder immediately before the scan. This preparation helps to ensure the best possible visualization and information during the scan.
