Gynaecology scans
This ultrasound scan is a quick visualisation of female pelvic organs and structures.
Using ultrasound we can examine uterus (a womb), endometrium (lining of the womb) and the ovaries.
You can book this scan if you would like: a reassurance scan; a routine pelvic check; to confirm position of a coil; at the beginning of fertility treatment; or if you have a pelvic pain; heavy bleeding; irregular cycle; postmenopausal bleeding; fertility issues, than you can also book this service.
IVF Treatment scans
This range of pelvic ultrasound scans is aiming to assist you during your fertility treatment.
Endometrial lining and Follicle tracking scans could be combined or done individually depending on your reproductive treatment plan.
During either of the ultrasound scans we can detect: ovarian cysts; endometrial polyps; fibroids or other abnormalities potentially related to infertility.
Pregnancy scans
We have a range of scans from early pregnancy or viability to 3D/4D scans; including dating scan, gender scan, baby wellbeing scan, presentation scan and anomaly scan
We can provide additional scan to check the cervical length at any stage of your pregnancy.
Our gender reveal scan and 3D/4D scans are not only comprehensive assessment of your baby but also an exciting journey into the baby’s world in the womb.
Thyroid scans
We will assess the thyroid and adjacent structures such as the submandibular glands, parotid glands and if enlarged, lymph nodes.
Upper Abdominal scans
An abdominal ultrasound is a non-invasive procedure commonly used for an assessment of your internal organs such as liver, pancreas, gallbladder, bile ducts, kidneys and spleen.
Ultrasound technology allows quick and safe visualisation of the abdominal organs.
We provide kidney, bladder and prostate scan for male patients or pelvic overview for female patients; our full abdominal scan includes liver, gallbladder, bile ducts, pancreas, kidneys, urinary bladder and spleen assessment.
Blood tests
Blood tests are used to assess various aspects of health, diagnose medical conditions, monitor ongoing conditions, and evaluate the effectiveness of treatments. They provide valuable information about organ function, metabolic processes, blood cell counts, and the presence of infections or diseases.
During a blood test, a phlebotomist will draw blood from a vein in your arm using a needle and collect it into a tube. The blood sample is then sent to a laboratory for analysis. Depending on the tests ordered, you may need to fast before the test, or there may be other specific instructions to follow.

A truly amazing experience, after having numerous private scans at other clinics, my scan today at UltraCare Plus stood out by a mile. Dr Elena was accommodating, knowledgable, passionate, reassuring and so very kind.
